Aaron Richmond

Aaron Richmond joined the Foodbuy Senior Management Team in 2025 as Senior Vice President of Compass Account Management. In this role, Aaron leads a team of procurement and pricing professionals, dedicated to Compass Group’s sector businesses.  Aaron develops strategies for both purchasing and price optimization across the foodservice and corporate services industries within business & industry, healthcare, education, and sports & entertainment business segments.

Aaron was born and raised in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area and received his MBA from Penn State University. He moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2013 and shortly thereafter began his career at Compass Group in June 2014. He’s held several leadership roles, including oversight of the Compass Pricing Department and the Compass Cost Control Department, which manages non-food categories such as mobile, travel, and fleet.

Before joining Compass Group, Aaron provided business consulting services to KPMG and CapTech for two years and led operational efficiency and process design initiatives at Blue Cross Blue Shield for nine years. His in-depth experience in optimizing business practices has allowed him to develop a suite of best practices and analytical skills which he now brings to his role at Foodbuy.

In his free time, Aaron enjoys playing golf, finding the best seafood spots in the Carolinas, and visiting his home away from home: Pawley’s Island, South Carolina.
