Matt started his career at Coca Cola Enterprises, then Coca Cola’s largest bottling franchisee, in 1997. He started on the Graduate scheme in the UK and worked in various finance functions including Commercial, Corporate and Supply Chain before moving into the European Procurement team in 2004. There, he specialized in sourcing global commodities, packaging, energy, logistics and Indirects. He joined Compass Group in global category management in 2010 before moving into the Compass UK business taking on various roles leading up to his appointment as Chief Procurement Officer for UK and Ireland. After 6 successful years where he helped develop and implement Foodbuy UK he moved to Compass Group Canada in Toronto, Ontario where he took on the role of Senior Vice President Foodbuy at the beginning of 2017. Matt then moved to Charlotte NC in July 2018 and is now responsible for Sourcing, Category Development and Distribution for Foodbuy North America.

Matt lives with his partner Jude, their two young sons Arthur and Elliot and their three dogs. Matt is a keen sportsman and particularly enjoys Cricket, Rugby, NFL (49ers), Horse Racing and is a big Tottenham Hotspur fan. Matt holds a BA (Hons) degree from Durham University in England.
