Alana Carlton was appointed SVP of Category Development last year. She is responsible for the areas of Food and SES (Supplies, Equipment and Services); covering procurement strategy, supplier management, category growth, culinary, and sustainability.   Alana joined Foodbuy in 2013 and has held leadership positions in Business Implementation and Sourcing.  Prior to joining Foodbuy, Alana worked in New York City in a variety of supply chain functions and was a Strategy & Operations consultant for Deloitte & Touche. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before going on to obtain her Masters in Information Systems and Management at Carnegie Mellon University.
