The Foodbuy team works on multiple initiatives geared towards improving the supply chain. “Responsible Supply Chain” is the phrase we use to describe our multi-faceted commitment to a supply chain that upholds environmental sustainability, human rights standards, and animal welfare best practices.

This includes contributing to Compass Group’s company-wide goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, offering regional sourcing programs, providing certified sustainable products, and supporting programs and organizations that advance worker’s rights and animal welfare. Foodbuy works within our network to make a difference, wherever we can.

The Data You Need to Develop a More Responsible Supply Chain

Making an impact on the supply chain all begins with data, that’s why data analytics is ingrained in everything we do at Foodbuy. Foodbuy’s Responsible Supply Chain Team uses up-to-date data on supplier certifications and practices to help our Members and Compass Sectors make informed decisions when it comes to procurement.

When you use MPower, our data analytics platform, you can access spend reports complete with responsible-focused attributes. That way, you can make the decisions you need to meet your responsible supply chain goals.
