Sara Trivett was appointed SVP of Category Development in February 2024. Sara leads our Category Development team, which includes contract and supplier management, pricing, forecasting, costumer contract utilization, Compass culinary implementation and supplier diversity. Sara joined Foodbuy in 2012 as a Category Development Manager and has partnered with our suppliers and customers to deliver stellar results year after year, taking on numerous roles with increasing responsibility over time.  Most recently, Sara oversaw center of plate and grocery categories as the VP of Category Development, where she worked to diversify supplier base and built a team of industry leaders.  Prior to joining Foodbuy, Sara was in retail buying for Total Wine and Bon-Ton Stores. Sara is a graduate of Rutgers University and enjoys life in Charlotte with her husband and two sons.
