The Foodbuy Culinary Solutions Team traveled to California for an operational consultation with the hospital. The team reviewed menus, dish quality, and ordering processes and identified several key opportunities for improvement, including:
• Reducing costs through recommended broadline and regional programs.
• Eliminating excess spending through vendor order guides and routine storage inventories.
• Reducing food waste through use of a waste log, as well as adjustments to portion sizes.
The Member received a detailed report with all recommendations and savings opportunities.
